Geoffrey Benzing

Geoffrey Benzing was born in 1975 and resides in Lawrence Kansas, he studied art at Wichita State University and works as a professional artist and instructor.  He began his interest in art at a young age but began painting as a teenager after recovering from cancer.  Geoffrey was inspired by fantasy art and surrealism and loved skateboard graphics, album art, and movie posters.  He had his first show at the age of 27 which was successful and has been working in art ever since.  His favorite artists are Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, and Gustav Klimpt.
